Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Jerico started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nykvarn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaviotas FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Bengt-Rune Jakobsson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Oliverios in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fabricio Jakobe hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Sebastian Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Dusett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Holmberg during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jens-Ove Holmberg hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes, Gaviotas FC's Fabricio Jakobe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Matsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaviotas FC reached it. Jon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Jerico in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Nykvarn's Evert Dusett ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Asur. Pedro Asur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jon Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Jerico in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Sebastian Gimenez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Matsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jon Matsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Oliverios went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Baldomiro Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nykvarn's Jon Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Jerico in the 40th minute of play. Baldomiro Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Matsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Jerico in the 42nd minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Oliverios scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Matsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Jaime Jerico made a precise shot to the right of Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After the first half Gaviotas FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Erserman was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Nykvarn defense, Baldomiro Oliverios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Matsson. The Nykvarn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Matsson should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Gaviotas FC's Jaime Jerico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Gaviotas FC's Patricio Oriol was substituted for Elias Ursino. Nykvarn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Jaime Jerico scored to the left of an out of position Jon Matsson, making the score, 1-7. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Jon Matsson got control of the ball when Jaime Jerico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Erserman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Jerico. Nykvarn's Jon Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 80th minute of play. Nykvarn were furious when Malte Månsson was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Malte Månsson hit a great ball. Patricio Oriol didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Jens-Ove Holmberg got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ildefonso Ortle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jon Matsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Ildefonso Ortle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 89th minute. Gaviotas FC's Ildefonso Ortle got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Jon Matsson got control of the ball when Jaime Jerico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Gaviotas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
