After a defensive mix-up in λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's zone, Jaime Jerico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Jaime Jerico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Jaime Jerico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 32 minutes, Oscar Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaviotas FC and the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Oscar Guerrero got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Giovani Lago came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Lago couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Oliverios notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Edvaldo Brasil. Edvaldo Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Esteve Naelio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Naelio to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Asur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Custódio went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
