With a left leg Kurt Vallengren saved Asarum from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Olov Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Vallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Telesforo De Paula went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kurt Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Olov Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Lindsten came free, but Garaona Camino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Vallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Telesforo De Paula went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Veto Montaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Olov Lind dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Garaona Camino, 1-3. 40 minutes into the match, Tito Marrero notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Asarum's Kurt Vallengren. Kurt Vallengren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Mats Skoog made the kick off in the second half. Kurt Vallengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telesforo De Paula in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Lindsten came free, but Garaona Camino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Zaplana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Olov Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garaona Camino having to interfere. Bengt Jönsson took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garaona Camino. Garaona Camino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Kurt Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telesforo De Paula in the 71st minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Kurt Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Garaona Camino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Valdo Valerón got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Olov Lind came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Asarum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Lind couldn't finish the play. Garaona Camino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Asarum defense, Tito Marrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Vallengren. The Asarum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Vallengren should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Puerto de Sagunto CF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ekaitz Jorquera hit a great ball. The Puerto de Sagunto CF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
