Walmir Leme started the match with the kick off. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Walmir Leme scored to the left of an out of position Anacleto Eutor, making the score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Siro Claris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nando Proença made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Siro Claris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xandeco FC's Nando Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Leme in the 10th minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Anacleto Eutor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Siro Claris in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kauan Lago hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Denis Salvadore hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Baltasar Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Fernandinho Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Pontes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Claris might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando Proença. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siro Claris ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Siro Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Claris to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Xandeco FC's Nando Proença got control of the ball when Jeremias Blanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Lizbeth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nando Proença came out and tried to block the shot, but Anier Lizbeth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 54th minute. After 58 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Estevez. Anacleto Eutor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexsandro Ferraz went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Walmir Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Anacleto Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Siro Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 minutes, Guilherme da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xandeco FC and the Los Muñes de Don Cuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Raimundo Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xandeco FC's Nando Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Claris in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Los Muñes de Don Cuco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Xandeco FC.
