Baltasar Mikeldi scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Celino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Luciano Ler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Expreso del oeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Muñes de Don Cuco the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Expreso del oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Ler to maneuver through the defense. Siro Claris did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Damaso Celino 22 minutes into the match. Damaso Celino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Mikeldi in the 25th minute of the match. Anacleto Eutor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Clis went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Expreso del oeste's Damaso Celino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Expreso del oeste from getting a goal against them. When Rodolfo Bautista came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Expreso del oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Bautista couldn't finish the play. Anacleto Eutor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Clis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Celino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Anier Lizbeth got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Rodolfo Bautista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Expreso del oeste fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Bautista to make the kick off. Rodolfo Bautista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. 68 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Bautista notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Anacleto Eutor. Anacleto Eutor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anacleto Eutor made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rodolfo Bautista sent off a good shot on target. Teofilo Lixandro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Melchor Domiku dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Eutor, 3-9. Expreso del oeste's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
