Duarte Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Claris in the 19th minute of the match. A hard shot 21 in the game by Alexandre de Barros from a close distance when the talented Anacleto Eutor managed to make a qualified save. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's players were relieved. When Vitório Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tenha Dó Dó Dó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitório Silveira couldn't finish the play. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's attentive Ezequiel Leão managed to snatch the ball when Pascual Demario made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. If Anier Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Ezequiel Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Siro Claris. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Tenha Dó Dó Dó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Blanco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Duarte Pinheiro didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jeremias Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Los Muñes de Don Cuco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Claris to make the kick off. Geovânio Peixoto's late challenge caught a Los Muñes de Don Cuco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovânio Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. Geovânio Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Blanco got free with Duarte Pinheiro in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Salvadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Duarte Pinheiro made a huge save. In the 89th minute Alexandre de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Mikeldi came free, but Duarte Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
