In the 22nd match minute, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emrah Yağızkan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. defense, Sandrinho Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Kaan Ulağ. The Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Kaan Ulağ should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Egídio Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Kaan Ulağ. Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egídio Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 31 minutes of play, Poetass FC's Adriano Botelho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Kaan Ulağ was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Kaan Ulağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Carvalho in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Merih Özdurdu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Poetass FC's Narciso Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Kaan Ulağ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, one of Poetass FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Poetass FC. The referee gave Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emrah Yağızkan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Poetass FC's Percival Souto. 1-4. Ali Kaan Ulağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Freire in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Poetass FC's Adriano Botelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Kaan Ulağ. That made the score 1-5 after 61 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Necaettin Cenan put in a rough tackle. In the 66th minute, Necaettin Cenan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Adriano Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kaan Ulağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şeray Çağlayan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Souto having to interfere. The Poetass FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Poetass FC's Narciso Freire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poetass FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
