The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Paulin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardino Baumer. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. With a little luck, RIQUELME FC's Bernardino Baumer got control of the ball when Erasmo Paulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the last second Bernardino Baumer throw himself and got hold of the ball when Amadeo Nastasio in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 34th minute, Anselmo Ponc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Baumer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bernardino Baumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Ponc in the 38th minute. Anselmo Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Baumer having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Bernardino Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Ponc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alberto Ferdinand fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIQUELME FC's protests and gave Alberto Ferdinand a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Ferdinand hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Benito Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Nastasio in the 57th minute of play forced RIQUELME FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
