Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadeu Correia got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Tadeu Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind FLACONQUISTA's goalkeeper Walmyr Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to FLACONQUISTA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Marquinhos Ramalho hit a great ball. Walmyr Mello came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo's Zé Carlos Tróia. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Tadeu Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmyr Mello came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo's Tadeu Correia. But to his dismay, Tadeu Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Correia during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tadeu Correia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Correia in the 30th minute of play forced FLACONQUISTA's goalkeeper Walmyr Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Tadeu Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Mello. FLACONQUISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeu Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 39thth minute of the game Tadeu Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLACONQUISTA's Walmyr Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Montevideo's André Luiz Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. Montevideo's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The FLACONQUISTA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montevideo were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Wesley Loureiro made the kick off in the second half. Walmyr Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Cleiton Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. André Luiz Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Tadeu Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Tadeu Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Walmyr Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Correia scored 0-5 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmyr Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marquinhos Ramalho hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Montevideo's André Luiz Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Loureiro in the 67th minute of play. Wesley Loureiro's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. Wesley Loureiro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. André Luiz Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Walmyr Mello made a huge save. Zé Carlos Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Mello having to interfere. With his leg Walmyr Mello managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Montevideo's Tadeu Correia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tadeu Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Walmyr Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Correia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Walmyr Mello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tadeu Correia came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Correia couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Montevideo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FLACONQUISTA throughout the match.
