Olívio Donatello was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Osvaldinho Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho da Silveira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eurico Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Levashik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juljan Shabanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eurico Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuriy Levashik in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Kán was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Osvaldinho Prata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvaldinho Prata really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuriy Levashik made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Donatello in the 51st minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Oliver Kán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in FORTALEZA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Oliver Kán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Prata in the 57th minute of the match. Olívio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aguinhas.
