The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Artemio Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. Artemio Jaunti hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Artemio Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Tassotti in the 16th minute of play. When Bonifacio Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Cresconio couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Enrico Tassotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Vieri in the 39th minute of play. Anselmo Sarracino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Augusto Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Mian. Donato Nalo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 50 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 49th minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gonzo Style f.c:s goal. The referee gave Gonzo Style f.c a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Damiano Mian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Cresconio to make the kick off. Federico Marsilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Club Atlético Atlanta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gonzo Style f.c's performance. The match ended with a win for Gonzo Style f.c.
