The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso Belém charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Adam Brodzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Setúbal in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Wasyl Dziuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Munko hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Setúbal in the 10th minute of play forced FC SPOKOJNII SSA's goalkeeper Adam Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Setúbal during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC SPOKOJNII SSA booed when DPD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Wasyl Dziuma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC SPOKOJNII SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DPD FC the free kick. Wasyl Dziuma kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Adam Brodzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcísio Calçada in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Wasyl Dziuma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SPOKOJNII SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wasyl Dziuma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Witwicki. Wasyl Dziuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. Boleslaw Kosel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Alex Tristão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DPD FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SPOKOJNII SSA the free kick. After 28 played minutes DPD FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Tristão. A collision led to DPD FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Laércio Mourão hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belchior Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belchior Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DPD FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Belchior Valadares hit a great ball. Sebastian Witwicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. DPD FC's Nuno Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Witwicki in the 57th minute of play. FC SPOKOJNII SSA's Wasyl Dziuma got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Witwicki went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 66 played minutes FC SPOKOJNII SSA got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Dziuma. In the 68th minute, Jairo Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Filip Munko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Munko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Witwicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Boleslaw Kosel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC SPOKOJNII SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Filip Munko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
