Giovanni Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Diederik Huijberechts notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Zé Augusto Velloso. Zé Augusto Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Zé Augusto Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert-Jan Volckaerts in the 10th minute of play. Zé Augusto Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diederik Huijberechts in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Giovanni Pirani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Pelegrims was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zé Augusto Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Capellemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Diederik Huijberechts. With a little luck, Limburg United's Manuel Pelegrims got control of the ball when Giovanni Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Gert-Jan Volckaerts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Zé Augusto Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giovanni Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Pelegrims having to interfere. Giles Callewaert kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gert-Jan Volckaerts scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Augusto Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Pedro Luís Romero made the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Luís Fábio de Alcântara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Pelegrims quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Palmeiras - Tia Leila booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diederik Huijberechts didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wilian Dionísio fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras - Tia Leila's protests and gave Wilian Dionísio a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Palmeiras - Tia Leila got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Dionísio. Lucas Capellemans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Zé Augusto Velloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Augusto Velloso made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lucas Capellemans sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Paranaense came free, but Manuel Pelegrims reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Diederik Huijberechts got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Palmeiras - Tia Leila got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Dionísio. The Limburg United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
