A hard shot by Délio Gerber from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Reynaldo Savion's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 12 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Tolino. After 22 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Ishmael. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Duarte got free with Reynaldo Savion in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Augusto Duarte struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Reynaldo Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blumenau Esporte Clube. 32 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Hernandez came free, but Vivaldo Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
