Válbson Mattos came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Staszów's Stasio Tychy. But to his dismay, Stasio Tychy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Damian Barna. Lucas Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Giertych made a huge save. Lucas Munhoz scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbigniew Giertych, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pogoń Staszów's Zbigniew Giertych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Brasil in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, José Augusto Capixaba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zbigniew Giertych. The goal made the score 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Augusto Capixaba during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zbigniew Giertych was a little too slow when Lucas Munhoz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-1. Cesinha Brasil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbigniew Giertych came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesinha Brasil slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 35th minute. Válbson Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Henryk in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Cesinha Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Zbigniew Giertych made a huge save. Zbigniew Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Brasil in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Pogoń Staszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Barna to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Staszów's zone, Jeremias Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Giertych came out of the goal and Jeremias Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Zbigniew Giertych had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Capixaba. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pankracy Adamus made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Igor Henryk took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Válbson Mattos to make any attempt to save it. When Jeremias Salles came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Relyn Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Salles couldn't finish the play. When Radomir Watarz fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Staszów's protests and gave Radomir Watarz a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Watarz. 66 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Munhoz came free, but Zbigniew Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Giertych stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Munhoz's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Pankracy Adamus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Válbson Mattos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Válbson Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Henryk went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Zbigniew Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Munhoz in the 81st minute of the match. Pankracy Adamus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Válbson Mattos firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 83rd match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Tychy came free, but Válbson Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute José Augusto Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pogoń Staszów's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
