The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Cássio Cardoso put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the game, one of Corinthians:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 22nd match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Sandro de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Zangari in the 25th minute of the match. Sandro de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Ciarrocchi in the 26th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor de Salles made a kick off. In the 54th minute Arturo Pietropaolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kroton F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 73 minutes into the match, Victor de Salles notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kroton F.C.'s Donato Madonna. Donato Madonna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when Corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Hell in the 79th minute of the match.
