The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Castellano came free, but Zbigniew Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordarell Saura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomir Watarz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Watarz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radomir Watarz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. During the 9th minute of the match Radomir Watarz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Radomir Watarz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 10 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Watarz. Zbigniew Giertych came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pfullendorf's Cordarell Saura. But to his dismay, Cordarell Saura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zbigniew Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Castellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Igor Henryk. SC Pfullendorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Castellano in the 23rd minute. The corner led SC Pfullendorf's Oscar Castellano to fire away a dangerous shot which Zbigniew Giertych despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Kepa Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pogoń Staszów's Pankracy Adamus got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbigniew Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarell Saura in the 34th minute of the match. Stasio Tychy charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stasio Tychy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Pogoń Staszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Tychy to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Castellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when Pogoń Staszów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Ferfecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Boguslaw Jekot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogoń Staszów and the SC Pfullendorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boguslaw Jekot kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Pfullendorf's Oscar Castellano tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Chinto Buenafuente charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chinto Buenafuente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chinto Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Adamus got free with Felipo Ramirez in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

SC Pfullendorf's Raymond Sans was substituted for Chinto Buenafuente. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pankracy Adamus made a kick off. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Zbigniew Giertych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipo Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Adamus in the 65th minute of play. Salvador Rajoi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Rajoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's Salvador Rajoi got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Pogoń Staszów's Zbigniew Giertych got control of the ball when Raymond Sans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbigniew Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Castellano in the 79th minute of the match. Pankracy Adamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipo Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Zbigniew Giertych was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Cordarell Saura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cordarell Saura really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Zbigniew Giertych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cordarell Saura scored 0-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbigniew Giertych, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Pfullendorf walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
