Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Høines started the match with the kick off. Rafal Duda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Svingen in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ove Svingen sped through Jagiellonia Bialystok's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafal Duda. In the 13th minute Dan Høines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Svingen took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafal Duda. Rafal Duda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hans-Erik Midtun made a great header on The Nerd Herd's corner, it was just that Jagiellonia Bialystok's Rafal Duda managed to reach the ball for a save. Jon-Inge Kolberg made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gustaw Majerowicz sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Jon-Inge Kolberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Poniewaz. After a rather tough play, The Nerd Herd's Kristian Slåtten got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Frode Kjellevold fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Nerd Herd's protests and gave Frode Kjellevold a yellow card for diving instead. Frode Kjellevold hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Svingen in the 39th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Rafal Duda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Høines came free, but Rafal Duda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kristian Slåtten hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Majerowicz in the 44th minute of play forced The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Jon-Inge Kolberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Kristian Slåtten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half The Nerd Herd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Poniewaz to make the kick off. A collision led to Jagiellonia Bialystok getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Walery Makowski hit a great ball. Rafal Duda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Høines in the 58th minute. Rafal Duda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Svingen in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Jagiellonia Bialystok booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birk Rognstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafal Duda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Høines in the 68th minute. Ove Svingen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafal Duda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The Nerd Herd's Kristian Slåtten got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Kristian Slåtten off the ground. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kristian Slåtten hit a great ball. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Rafal Duda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Bialystok from getting a goal against them. When Gustaw Majerowicz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Jagiellonia Bialystok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaw Majerowicz couldn't finish the play. Rafal Duda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Høines in the 80th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Rafal Duda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jon-Inge Kolberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Majerowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Ove Svingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Alfred Cetnar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
