Marciano Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lop Ramallal in the 5th minute of the match. After 5 minutes, Raul Brion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Pucho and the GreenUnited players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Pucho's Daniel Pere got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Cesario during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pucho's Zeledon Cesario got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 20th match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lop Ramallal to maneuver through the defense. Zarbonin Sotuela kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Gerardo Pere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xalbador Gamiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Deportivo Pucho's Gerardo Pere in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GreenUnited's goalie prevented a goal. GreenUnited's Xalbador Gamiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Pere in the 33rd minute of play. Aitor Escapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Elija Andres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Pere in the 40th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Deportivo Pucho's Daniel Pere made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xalbador Gamiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pucho's zone, Sarracino Ser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Blanco came out of the goal and Sarracino Ser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Pere was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Sarracino Ser. Gerardo Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xalbador Gamiz was a little too slow when Gerardo Pere got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. When Vladimiro Papo fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pucho's protests and gave Vladimiro Papo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vladimiro Papo hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Lop Ramallal. Daniel Pere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xalbador Gamiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Xalbador Gamiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Pere in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Pere. Gartzen Pons kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Deportivo Pucho's Gerardo Pere got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aitor Escapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GreenUnited's Elija Andres got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Aitor Escapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pere in the 96th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Deportivo Pucho could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GreenUnited throughout the match.
