After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportivo Italiano's zone, Jacek Literski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Esiquio came out of the goal and Jacek Literski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Literski to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Silvano Esiquio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silvano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Mitus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ACR SA's Tadeusz Cuber got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Jacek Literski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
