Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lop Ramallal got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Van Dijck to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to GreenUnited getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Lop Ramallal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Winksele 2016's zone, Zarbonin Sotuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sem Severens came out of the goal and Zarbonin Sotuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Dimo Bratuti. Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Simon Van Hemel in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Winksele 2016's Wannes Louckx got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Lop Ramallal came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the GreenUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lop Ramallal couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as GreenUnited's Batista Liebana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sem Severens. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jannis Preuveneer hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Van Dijck came free, but Xalbador Gamiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Marichal to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Dimo Bratuti. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wannes Louckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Estevis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Winksele 2016's Jan-Simon Van Hemel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, David Aelgoet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xalbador Gamiz, 2-1. Claude Van Dijck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Xalbador Gamiz made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Aelgoet during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Aelgoet kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sem Severens came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by GreenUnited's Gartzen Pons. But to his dismay, Gartzen Pons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Sem Severens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lop Ramallal in the 80th minute of play. Winksele 2016's Sem Severens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lop Ramallal in the 84th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Winksele 2016 got a freekick which was hit by David Aelgoet. Joos De Middeleer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalbador Gamiz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macario Runs in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sem Severens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joos De Middeleer in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GreenUnited had won after a very even match.
