In the 16th minute Bernabe Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Braun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Nelson Hernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Hernández struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Saul Nuno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Águila. If Bernabe Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Majadita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Gilen to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Braun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Hanni's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Walme in the 38th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper David Braun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Braun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute of the match Elias Portillo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saul Nuno skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Majadita FC's Bernabe Walme got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Guaberto Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Majadita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Félix Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Majadita FC booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Majadita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Aztore to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Majadita FC's Guaberto Hanni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Braun. David Braun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 95th minute, Gerardo Urti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
