Fritz Dostie started the match with the kick off. When Dorian Varela fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasqueiro FC's protests and gave Dorian Varela a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Dostie in the 8th minute of play. Fritz Dostie took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Paulista. Luís Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vasqueiro FC's Dorian Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Dostie in the 22nd minute of play forced Vasqueiro FC's goalkeeper Luís Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lyle Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyle Rosado couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Will Greenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Will Greenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fritz Dostie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Fritz Dostie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fritz Dostie in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Paulista saved Vasqueiro FC from getting behind. Fritz Dostie struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Luís Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. In the 39th match minute, Vasqueiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Erich Stokes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Maria Youngblood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Luís Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Dostie in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maria Youngblood to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Vasqueiro FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Patrick Romero hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Vasqueiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fritz Dostie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Dostie got free with Luís Paulista in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fritz Dostie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luís Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fritz Dostie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulista having to interfere. The supporters of Vasqueiro FC booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyle Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Fritz Dostie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Fritz Dostie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Lyle Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasqueiro FC's Luís Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Vasqueiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Varela in the 87th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Boyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Fritz Dostie made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Maria Youngblood got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Luís Paulista made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Fritz Dostie sent off a good shot on target. The Vasqueiro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
