When Léo Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Inter de São Paulo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Almeida couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Wrocanka defense, Celsinho Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Majtyka. The FC Wrocanka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Majtyka should have stopped the shot. FC Wrocanka's Emil Majtyka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Almeida in the 23rd minute of play. Eliseu Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Czerniejewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Czerniejewski. Kaká Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kaká Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Eliseu Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaroslaw Przewozik. Ulryk Hatman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Melo having to interfere. Kajetan Czerniejewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eliseu Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celsinho Bittencourt was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Wrocanka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Inter de São Paulo a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agnaldo de Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Wrocanka's Emil Majtyka. 1-2. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Przewozik in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Prado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emil Majtyka. Alfredinho Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Luciano Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Marcin Brak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wrocanka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Brak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Witalis Mazurkiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wrocanka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de São Paulo the free kick. Witalis Mazurkiewicz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC Wrocanka's Emil Majtyka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Bittencourt in the 93rd minute of play. If Kajetan Czerniejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
