Maximo Loco hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Real Unión CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elazar Ocejo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Real Unión CF booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quitilipi's Salvador Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leizarraga Texidor in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Robustiano Ulizes hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Leizarraga Texidor came free, but Salvador Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zosimo Villalaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Salvador Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Benjamin Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zosimo Villalaud in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Ramond saved Quitilipi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Vedillo in the 36th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Mariano Echarriza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zosimo Villalaud sped through Quitilipi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Ramond. Teofilo Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Benjamin Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Echarriza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venerando Eguizabal's late challenge caught a Quitilipi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venerando Eguizabal helped the player get up and apologised. Venerando Eguizabal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Claudio Miro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Unión CF's Mariano Echarriza didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Vedillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Real Unión CF's Elazar Ocejo got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th match minute, Real Unión CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilazki Serrana to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Benjamin Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quitilipi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Vedillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Laureano Faron hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Benjamin Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Echarriza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leizarraga Texidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Real Unión CF were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Quitilipi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Camilo Mezcano took the corner. Real Unión CF's Camilo Mezcano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Salvador Ramond in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zosimo Villalaud made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 76thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Salvador Ramond would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Mariano Echarriza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Laureano Faron got a free kick in the 81st minute. Salvador Ramond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zosimo Villalaud in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's Zosimo Villalaud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salvador Ramond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elazar Ocejo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Elazar Ocejo hit a great ball. Mariano Echarriza came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Quitilipi's Benjamin Vedillo. But to his dismay, Benjamin Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 94 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goalkeeper Salvador Ramond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zosimo Villalaud. The Real Unión CF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
