Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvise Giannetta started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Fiume Veneto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Natalucci to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Bianco Masi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Franzioni to maneuver through the defense. Bianco Masi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Rosa having to interfere. Adriano De Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Di Girolamo in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Natalucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvise Giannetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Giannetta came free, but Adriano De Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Masi in the 28th minute of play. Bianco Masis short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Amos Rosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Milan's goalkeeper Amos Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fiume Veneto's Adriano De Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Di Girolamo in the 40th minute of play. Bianco Masi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Amos Rosa made a huge save. Bianco Masi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amos Rosa having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Federico Fanfarone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amos Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bianco Masi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Amos Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Masi in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Borel. AC Milan's Ciccio Mancinelli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adriano De Simone but with some difficulty. In the 61st minute Bianco Masi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano De Simone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Di Girolamo in the 64th minute. Fiume Veneto were furious when Alfonso Damiani was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fiume Veneto:s Adriano De Simone showed great skill when he stopped Ciccio Mancinelli:s penalty. 0-1 came in the 70th minute when Ciccio Mancinelli all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Adriano De Simone. After 74 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Galliani. Bianco Masi might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bianco Masi ran back to his position shaking his head. Amos Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Masi in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Fedele Pesce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Arrigo Di Girolamo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 86 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Masi came free, but Amos Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Fanfarone in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fedele Pesce hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Bianco Masi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiume Veneto's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Masi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The AC Milan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Milan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
