The crowd rose to their feet as DFP's Joseph Dalman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Drozdowski. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play.

Chopina Wejherowo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DFP the free kick. The Chopina Wejherowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Drozdowski should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Joseph Dalman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Drozdowski was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Sebastian Drozdowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Dalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Joseph Dalman came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the DFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Dalman couldn't finish the play. George Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Marco Simone took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Eric Lilja to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DFP had won after a very even match.
