Neisti Runólfsson's late challenge caught a Anga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neisti Runólfsson helped the player get up and apologised. 9 minutes into the match, Enzo Pitin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnviður Þorsteinsson. Æsir Ásgarðr's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Pitin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Jacinto Lehoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnviður Þorsteinsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Lehoi went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arnviður Þorsteinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Errolan in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Desiderio Argenis made a precise shot to the right of Arnviður Þorsteinsson. Æsir Ásgarðr's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 32 minutes into the game, Anga FC's Roque Sustrai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnviður Þorsteinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Herfinnur Sverrisson got a free kick in the 34th minute. Arnviður Þorsteinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Sustrai in the 36th minute of play. Claudio Mogel took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnviður Þorsteinsson. Arnviður Þorsteinsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Pitin came free, but Arnviður Þorsteinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Æsir Ásgarðr's Arnviður Þorsteinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Sustrai in the 44th minute of play. Arnviður Þorsteinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Pitin in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Æsir Ásgarðr getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Hnikar Hinriksson hit a great ball. Arnviður Þorsteinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Errolan in the 49th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Sustrai was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Roque Sustrai could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Arnviður Þorsteinsson however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Desiderio Argenis took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Arnviður Þorsteinsson to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute Claudio Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnviður Þorsteinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Jacinto Lehoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Arnviður Þorsteinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnviður Þorsteinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Sustrai in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Desiderio Argenis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anga FC and the Æsir Ásgarðr players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Neisti Runólfsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arnviður Þorsteinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Mogel in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Desiderio Argenis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Æsir Ásgarðr's Hnikar Hinriksson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice moves Roque Sustrai could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Arnviður Þorsteinsson however easily saved by the left post. Enzo Pitin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnviður Þorsteinsson having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Arnviður Þorsteinsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Anga FC booed when Æsir Ásgarðr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herfinnur Sverrisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnviður Þorsteinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Anga FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Æsir Ásgarðr.
