Margarita's Paulino Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Matorin in the 34th minute of play. Paulino Lizardi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival Matorin's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute Dorival Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Margarita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Figueira SC FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Raulo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Margarita booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball.
