Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loco Palermo kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Rubio in the 3rd minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Boyce Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Clemente Rudolfo made a precise shot to the right of Boyce Skinner. Slower Lower FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Rubio in the 10th minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Boyce Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Banegas to maneuver through the defense. Boyce Skinner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute, Adalberto Numbers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyce Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Rudolfo in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Loco Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyce Skinner. Slower Lower FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Boyce Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Rudolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyce Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Cristofol in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Slower Lower FC's Porter Gutierrez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Tracy Pennington fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slower Lower FC's protests and gave Tracy Pennington a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Slower Lower FC got a freekick which was hit by Tracy Pennington. In the 25th minute, Rogelio Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boyce Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Tracey Rooney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slower Lower FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Characate FC the free kick. Boyce Skinner came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Characate FC's Rigoberto Ur. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Ur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 34 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Unai. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Gifford in the 35th minute of the match. Adalberto Numbers hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Isaias Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Boyce Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Rubio scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boyce Skinner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Slower Lower FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tracy Pennington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boyce Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Gizon in the 42nd minute of the match. Tracey Rooney got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Slower Lower FC's Boyce Skinner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Palermo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Characate FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Titus Silva was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Zeledon Rubio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyce Skinner. Slower Lower FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Rubio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titus Silva in the 55th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Cristofol. In the 69th minute, Adalberto Numbers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyce Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Rubio in the 73rd minute of the match. Isaias Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyce Skinner was a little too slow when Cleto Gizon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-9. Cleto Gizon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Boyce Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Characate FC's Loco Palermo made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyce Skinner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Characate FC played a much better game than Slower Lower FC and deserved their victory. The Slower Lower FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
