Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loco Palermo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Cachilo FC --OFF-- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cachilo FC --OFF-- defense, Loco Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Teodor. The Cachilo FC --OFF-- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Teodor should have stopped the shot. Clemente Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Abelardo Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Arnulfo Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachilo FC --OFF--'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Berasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Erubiel Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Enzo Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Palermo in the 18th minute of the match. Enzo Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Ferman came free, but Enzo Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s goalkeeper Enzo Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Palermo. A collision led to Cachilo FC --OFF-- getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Arnulfo Berasko hit a great ball. Martin Aires hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Aquiles Valente got a free kick in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Banegas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Banegas to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erubiel Abreu to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Ferman to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes Cachilo FC --OFF-- got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Baleren. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Abelardo Baleren took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Benjamin Price to make any attempt to save it. Martin Aires hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Enzo Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Rubio in the 72nd minute of play. After 77 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Olentzaro. Abelardo Baleren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Price read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Abelardo Baleren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enzo Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Zeledon Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Teodor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. There was no doubt that Characate FC were the better team. Characate FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
