Cedric Earl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Cedric Earl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tomas Valle hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Almir Damião had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cedric Earl. Key Biscayne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Damião was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tomas Valle's late challenge caught a Mamutes EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Dé Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cedric Earl having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Lira in the 14th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Cedric Earl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Key Biscayne FC's Cedric Earl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Lira in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Jamal Laird hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Mamutes EC were awarded a corner. Dé Lira went to the cornerflag to take it. Cedric Earl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Lira in the 31st minute of play. Garret Bland struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rafael Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Key Biscayne FC. Cedric Earl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mamutes EC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Key Biscayne FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dé Lira took the corner. After 40 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Brice Carey. Cedric Earl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Pena in the 43rd minute of play. Júlio Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Earl having to interfere.

The wind increased when Dé Lira made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Dé Lira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cedric Earl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cedric Earl didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Almir Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Earl having to interfere. Dé Lira in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cedric Earl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dé Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Cedric Earl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Pena came free, but Cedric Earl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mamutes EC's Cedric Earl threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dé Lira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mamutes EC made a substitution. Alexsandro da Silveira replaced Robinho Oliveira. Mamutes EC's Elano Maciel was substituted for Silas Pena. Dé Lira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cedric Earl firmly grabbed it by the left post. Peter Lake hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Cedric Earl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Almir Damião showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 85 minute of play. If Júlio Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Dé Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamutes EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cedric Earl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elano Maciel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 95 minute of play. The Key Biscayne FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mamutes EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
