The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Habsburgo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Damião came free, but Rafael Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Rafael Gombal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silas Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Silas Pena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Gombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Silas Pena slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Natã Sanches got a free kick in the 29th minute. Rafael Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Dé Lira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Gombal, 3-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dé Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Dé Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Romo in the 63rd minute.
