The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Kjell Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Re Loco booed when Ghost Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Re Loco's Ismael Vidal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig-Arne Biörnberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Re Loco reached it. Stig-Arne Biörnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Casado in the 29th minute. When Victor Wenerdahl fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Victor Wenerdahl a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattias Borglin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Emil Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Emenon having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match Kjell Eliasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Emenon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Evert Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Robin Borglin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghost Hunters's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Borglin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Emenon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mattias Borglin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Haroldo Emenon made a huge save. Re Loco made a substitution. Niceto Elia replaced Esteve Erramu. Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur was substituted for Eugenio Gasteiz. Evert Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ghost Hunters's Stig-Arne Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Casado in the 82nd minute of play. Stig-Arne Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Vidal in the 87th minute of the match. Gerardo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Biörnberg having to interfere. Nils-Emil Hedbom's late challenge caught a Re Loco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Emil Hedbom helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Hedbom. Haroldo Emenon made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nils-Emil Hedbom sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Maju hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Re Loco were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
