The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ardahan Mukremin hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ahmed Fougeray hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Faouzi Plouvier hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Gibert in the 12th minute of play forced Boğazova's goalkeeper Musa Dündaroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Joaquim Gibert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dan Gillette hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boğazova's zone, Christophe Dugas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Musa Dündaroğlu came out of the goal and Christophe Dugas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Christophe Dugas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Boğazova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raşit Bozlak to maneuver through the defense. Saint Côme de Fresné's Luc Boulogne got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Christophe Dugas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Boğazova's Musa Dündaroğlu got control of the ball when Dan Gillette tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Boğazova got a freekick which was hit by Demircan Altuner. A hard shot by Luc Boulogne from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Musa Dündaroğlu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 62 minutes, Joaquim Gibert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Gibert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christophe Dugas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Musa Dündaroğlu having to interfere. Saint Côme de Fresné's Joaquim Gibert got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Musa Dündaroğlu made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Christophe Dugas sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Dugas to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Christophe Dugas could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Musa Dündaroğlu however easily saved by the left post. Musa Dündaroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christophe Dugas in the 85th minute of the match. Musa Dündaroğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christophe Dugas in the 89th minute. Joaquim Gibert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christophe Dugas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Musa Dündaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saint Côme de Fresné's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
