Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mahmoud Trezeguet started the match with the kick off. Genco Çakmur came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by ToCoTaN FC's Eduardo Ikatz. But to his dismay, Eduardo Ikatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Eduardo Ikatz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Genco Çakmur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Confesor in the 25th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Genco Çakmur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Confesor came free, but Genco Çakmur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Senio made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Müfit Taygun sent off a good shot on target. Mahmoud Trezeguet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Senio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alim Çavas during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genco Çakmur had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Isidro Eguerdi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 38 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmoud Trezeguet came free, but Eugenio Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Beila hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Silvio Munio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ToCoTaN FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor the free kick. ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mahmoud Trezeguet 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eduardo Ikatz made the kick off in the second half. ToCoTaN FC's Eugenio Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müfit Taygun in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Senio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the game, Mahmoud Trezeguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Eugenio Senio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mahmoud Trezeguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Bedrettin Bektaş. 2-3 became the score in the 64th minute when Eduardo Ikatz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eugenio Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Müfit Taygun, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Müfit Taygun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute, Mahmoud Trezeguet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Senio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After a rather tough play, ToCoTaN FC's Guido Confesor got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Guido Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Çakmur having to interfere. Guido Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 89th minute of the match.
