Guido Weather took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes of play Juventus Tatuquara's Kléberson Tande was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Juventus Tatuquara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blackened:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Rocio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Neto saved Juventus Tatuquara from getting behind. Andres Baristo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo Neto made a huge save. Baldomero Maura struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Luís Eduardo Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackened. After 34 minutes, Délio Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Tatuquara and the Blackened players grew even worse after the yellow card.
