Bevis Aroege's late challenge caught a 10 000 DE VISITANTE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Bud Ludwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Boroondara Milan's Brendan Mckinnes got control of the ball when Nicolas Iratxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bud Ludwick struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boroondara Milan reached it. If Brooker Cowdell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Bud Ludwick notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Remigio Mederi. Remigio Mederi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Bud Ludwick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Mederi. 10 000 DE VISITANTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bud Ludwick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Remigio Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bud Ludwick in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's Bud Ludwick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Mederi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Bud Ludwicks short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Remigio Mederi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Nicolas Iratxo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 84 minutes of play Boroondara Milan's Bevis Aroege was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of 10 000 DE VISITANTE booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bevis Aroege didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stephan Durbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
