An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Enström in the 31st minute of play forced Kultapossukerho's goalkeeper Simo Hurme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Ruohonen came free, but Karl-Magnus Lindmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Lindmark made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Pietari Jaakkola sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Enström in the 44th minute of play forced Kultapossukerho's goalkeeper Simo Hurme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ingvar Sundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simo Hurme. Kultapossukerho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Sundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

Axel Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alfred Ruohonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kultapossukerho's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Ruohonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Lindmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Enström got free with Simo Hurme in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the game, Pietari Jaakkola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Karl-Magnus Lindmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simo Hurme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Sundström in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Perttu Kamppunen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Golden Lions FC's Karl-Magnus Lindmark. Karl-Magnus Lindmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Kultapossukerho were the better team. Kultapossukerho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
