Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Saverio Sindo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Saverio Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almantas Kerežis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Sindo in the 13th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Almantas Kerežis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naglis Jonušas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almantas Kerežis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Sindo in the 26th minute of play. Edgard Sedeni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almantas Kerežis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Almantas Kerežis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Gilen in the 34th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Gilen. After 42 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Vėjas Bazaras. 44 minutes into the match, Edgard Sedeni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almantas Kerežis. Savage Hippo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Sedeni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Saverio Sindo made the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almantas Kerežis made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Saverio Sindo sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Sedeni came free, but Almantas Kerežis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Savage Hippo defense, Edgard Sedeni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almantas Kerežis. The Savage Hippo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almantas Kerežis should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Dominic. When Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Edgard Sedeni in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Savage Hippo's goalie prevented a goal. After 71 played minutes Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Sindo. Ciriaco Gilen might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Almantas Kerežis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Gilen ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengi Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naglis Jonušas in the 75th minute of play. Vėjas Bazaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Almantas Kerežis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Sindo. In the 79th minute, Ciriaco Gilen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Edgard Sedeni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Almantas Kerežis. That made the score 1-6 after 90 minutes of play. The Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
