The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornelio Ecija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marcos Udalaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xulio Medina having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Dorio Sobera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Servando Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th match minute, Alfonzo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Olando to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes ReyPoxo got a freekick which was hit by Rufio Caballero. Xulio Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Naelio in the 22nd minute. ReyPoxo's Xulio Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Domingues in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Máximo Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servando Dorado in the 30th minute of play. Servando Dorado scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Udalaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Normando Portillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ReyPoxo fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when ReyPoxo's Servando Dorado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the match, Alfonzo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Servando Dorado came free, but Marcos Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Alfonzo F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ReyPoxo were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Naelio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Alfonzo F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Blas Olando hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Rufio Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ReyPoxo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rufio Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Paulino Jaunti fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfonzo F.C.'s protests and gave Paulino Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Paulino Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubio Solo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Alfonzo F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Udalaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubio Solo. 73 minutes into the game, ReyPoxo's Cornelio Ecija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Udalaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubio Solo in the 77th minute of play forced Alfonzo F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alfonzo F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Paulino Jaunti hit a great ball. Blas Olando hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cornelio Ecija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Udalaitz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubio Solo got free with Marcos Udalaitz in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Olando hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. ReyPoxo's Ander Aguado got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Rubio Solo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Udalaitz. Alfonzo F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubio Solo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.
