The audience thought a goal was coming when Vlado Horijanec got free with Andreas Meynen in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match, Kristijan Raos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andreas Meynen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Robert Palunko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Van Beneden, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Andreas Meynen got control of the ball when Vlado Horijanec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andreas Meynen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lazar Mandić in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Dino Šakić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Meynen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the All Stars Gent defense, Vlado Horijanec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Meynen. The All Stars Gent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Meynen should have stopped the shot. Vlado Horijanec took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Meynen. Andreas Meynen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jan-Simon Backers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All Stars Gent's Andreas Meynen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristijan Raos in the 93rd minute of play.
