ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Ishmael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ⲨⲀⲚⲀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A hard shot 9 in the game by Hipolito Petri from a close distance when the talented Norberto Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Loures's players were relieved. Eusebio Rafel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Ishmael recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norberto Barbosa. Ubaldo Ishmael showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lázaro Hartzs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Norberto Barbosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Loures's Norberto Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Loures from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Corte-Real's late challenge caught a ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Corte-Real helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ⲨⲀⲚⲀ booed when Loures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Corte-Real didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Froylan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Norberto Barbosa made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Lázaro Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Lázaro Hartz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Hartz to make the kick off. Lázaro Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Norberto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Hartz in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Loures's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Hartz came free, but Norberto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Petri went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
