Olof Finsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Máximo Vadillos went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute, Servando Dorado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olof Finsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nacho Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nacho Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xulio Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ReyPoxo's Cornelio Ecija got a free kick in the 13th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Servando Dorado came free, but Olof Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Servando Dorado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Máximo Vadillos had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 32nd minute, Bernt Joensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ander Aguado in the 40th minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Olof Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Ander Aguado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olof Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ander Aguado in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Servando Dorado notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Finninge Fotboll's Olof Finsberg. Olof Finsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Finninge Fotboll players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ReyPoxo were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubio Solo to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Rubio Solo in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kjell Åberg's late challenge caught a ReyPoxo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. Kjell Åberg hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Greger Carlsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ander Aguado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Olof Finsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Dorio Sobera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ReyPoxo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finninge Fotboll the free kick. In the 71st minute, Dorio Sobera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Normando Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rubio Solo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olof Finsberg was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Olof Finsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Ecija. Rubio Solo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Olof Finsberg made a huge save. ReyPoxo's Ander Aguado got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olof Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Portillo in the 98th minute of the match. ReyPoxo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
