The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Dersu in the 6th minute of play forced Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Alptuğ Hepyener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Çelikan Safi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raik Zeynel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Rakı Sevenler FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bülent Korkmaz hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Emrullah Yekta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alptuğ Hepyener showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Reşit Sıraç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rakı Sevenler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEMİR YUMRUK the free kick. In the 15th minute, Reşit Sıraç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alptuğ Hepyener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artaç Dersu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bülent Korkmaz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rakı Sevenler FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bülent Korkmaz hit a great ball. Şamil Salti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Raik Zeynel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Rakı Sevenler FC got a freekick which was hit by Gürsel Ersever. DEMİR YUMRUK's Emrullah Yekta got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of DEMİR YUMRUK booed when Rakı Sevenler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bülent Korkmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raik Zeynel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çelikan Safi went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdi Mehmet Ekiner to make the kick off. Alptuğ Hepyener came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by DEMİR YUMRUK's Abdi Mehmet Ekiner. But to his dismay, Abdi Mehmet Ekiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Mehmet Ekiner in the 60th minute of play forced Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Alptuğ Hepyener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DEMİR YUMRUK booed when Rakı Sevenler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bülent Korkmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aziz Kura hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelikan Safi in the 65th minute of play forced DEMİR YUMRUK's goalkeeper Raik Zeynel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abuzer Özkurt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alptuğ Hepyener made a huge save. Raik Zeynel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çelikan Safi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Raik Zeynel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelikan Safi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes DEMİR YUMRUK got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Yekta. The audience was convinced that Çelikan Safi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raik Zeynel was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çelikan Safi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raik Zeynel saved DEMİR YUMRUK from getting behind. Alptuğ Hepyener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrullah Yekta in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Şamil Salti made a precise shot to the right of Raik Zeynel. DEMİR YUMRUK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Şamil Salti struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Raik Zeynel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rakı Sevenler FC.
