After recieving a nice pass, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Thomas Tönnberg tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Makis Tselementes was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Niclas Hellqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niclas Hellqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Stig Högström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Giannakis in the 20th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikael Abrahamsson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Youth Academy Of Rhye:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ΠΑΟΚ FC:s goal. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Niclas Hellqvist hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Tönnberg. If Achilleas Vasilatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Greger Lindgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Youth Academy Of Rhye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 37th minute, Anestis Kapataidakis made a precise shot to the right of Stig Högström. Youth Academy Of Rhye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Stig Högström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achilleas Vasilatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Mattsson. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Greger Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Makis Tselementes. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Greger Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Olle Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Makis Tselementes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Nikologiannis to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Youth Academy Of Rhye defense, Anestis Kapataidakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Högström. The Youth Academy Of Rhye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Högström should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Youth Academy Of Rhye were victorious despite being under pressure from ΠΑΟΚ FC for much of the match.
