Marc Rüsing took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Magdaleno. Valentin Magdaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cañani OFF's Rodolfo Abeijon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tim Wiese in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valentin Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Rüsing in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Valentin Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Rüsing in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes Cañani OFF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Klaus Vielhaus who took care of the corner kick. 62 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Salomone came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maik Schmeltzer came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maik Schmeltzer couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Venceslas during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valentin Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SV Bad Harzburg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
