The referee ignored Bairoletto FC's protests and gave Paulo Harri a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Harri hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Bernardo Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Froilan Meder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Tercero came free, but Raul Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Froilan Meder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascual Demario. The goal made the score 1-0. Timoteo Arce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Jax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Rafael Santos Borré scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascual Demario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Sebastian Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bairoletto FC's Anier Berriotxoa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Timoteo Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bairoletto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fernan Velasco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Raimundo Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 52 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Leon Tono. Anier Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Raul Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rafael Santos Borré managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Santos Borré was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Liher in the 60th minute of play forced Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Velasco was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Raul Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Bairoletto FC were awarded a corner. Paulo Luzea went to the cornerflag to take it. Pascual Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Santos Borré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Rafael Santos Borré left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 85th minute Rafael Santos Borré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Santos Borré in the 89th minute of the match. Bairoletto FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
