After having played for 3 minutes, Oscar Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee ignored Papillon AC's protests and gave Gonzalo Haritzeder a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Gonzalo Haritzeder got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zlatin Baldev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Zlatin Baldev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zlatin Baldev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zlatin Baldev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 25th minute of play. When Teofilo Milian came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Milian couldn't finish the play. Aristides Sansone's late challenge caught a Botev Plovdiv 1912's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Sansone helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Sansone kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Oscar Urki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botev Plovdiv 1912's Zlatin Baldev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Gonzalo Haritzeder made a precise shot to the right of Zlatin Baldev. Botev Plovdiv 1912's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 47th minute, Roman Terziyski made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Froylan. Papillon AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zlatin Baldev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when Papillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Milian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Osasun kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Teofilo Milian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Zlatin Baldev made a huge save.
