In the 5th minute Diego Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Diego Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Aragones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Raimundo Félix's late challenge caught a Defensores de Lombroso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Félix helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Raimundo Félix got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Vladimir Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s zone, Marcelo Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Capixaba came out of the goal and Marcelo Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramiro Cidro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dida Capixaba. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Luiz Fábio Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Miguel-Angel Merentiel came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Defensores de Lombroso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel-Angel Merentiel couldn't finish the play. Miguel-Angel Merentiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Velloso in the 43rd minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Elpidio Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Vinicio Jayvier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Lombroso and the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vinicio Jayvier hit a great ball. Defensores de Lombroso's Agustin Mirande was substituted for Orlando Oihenarte. Vladimir Trigo took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Aragones. Elpidio Aragones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
58 minutes into the game, Vladimir Trigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elpidio Aragones. Vladimir Trigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 62 minutes of play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Diego Velloso made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Aragones was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Luciano Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Aragones made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Diego Velloso sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes, Bernardo Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and the Defensores de Lombroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensores de Lombroso:s goal. Quique Hrabina shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 74 minutes into the match, Ramiro Cidro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Capixaba. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Cidro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, Ramiro Cidro notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Dida Capixaba. Dida Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clodoveo Oliverios's late challenge caught a Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Oliverios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. Miguel-Angel Merentiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Gilvan Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Velloso came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elpidio Aragones could save by the left post. During the 94th minute of the match Clodoveo Oliverios completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Clodoveo Oliverios a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio Garcia scored 3-4 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Aragones, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
